Product Manifesto

What is DigieSales — and why it will change how you run your WooCommerce store

AI-native commerce is not a feature you bolt onto an old store. It is a new operating layer — one that watches every cart, drafts every follow-up, and ships every campaign with the patience of a senior growth engineer who never sleeps. This is the manifesto for what we are building at DigieSales, written in plain English.

The problem with bolt-on AI

Every WooCommerce store owner I have spoken with in the last twelve months tells me the same thing: they have too many tools, doing too little. There is one plugin for abandoned carts, another for email, a third for analytics, a fourth for popups, a fifth for reviews. Each one was sold as "AI-powered". Most of them are not, and the ones that are run isolated little models that never see the rest of your store.

That is not AI commerce. That is a junk drawer.

The real shift happening right now is not that everyone is adding AI to e-commerce. It is that AI is becoming the substrate underneath e-commerce — the connective tissue that watches every signal across your store and decides, in real time, what to do next. When you build a platform that way from day one, you do not need ten plugins. You need one.

So what is DigieSales?

DigieSales is an AI-native commerce platform for WooCommerce and Shopify operators. Think of it as a senior growth engineer who lives inside your store, watches every customer interaction, and ships campaigns, segments, and recoveries on your behalf — under your final approval, never autonomously.

We ship a small, opinionated set of plugins that look like separate products on the surface but share a single brain underneath:

  • One WooCommerce plugin that hooks into orders, carts, and customer events.
  • One Shopify app that does the same on the other half of the market.
  • One Digit AI — the conversational layer your team and customers actually talk to.
  • One cloud dashboard where everything is wired together, scored, and surfaced.

That last word matters: wired together. The reason a customer abandoning a cart on your Woo store yesterday matters today is because Digit can write a follow-up that references the exact item, in your exact brand voice, sent at the exact hour that customer's cohort is most likely to open it. That only works if the cart event, the customer profile, the brand voice training, the email engine, and the send-time model live under one roof.

AI commerce only works when the model can see the whole store. Otherwise it's just autocomplete with a marketing budget. The principle DigieSales is built on

The plugins, and what each one does

The WooCommerce plugin

Drop it into any WooCommerce 7.0+ store. On install it runs a fifteen-second handshake that catalogues your products, customers, orders, and active settings, then opens a secure channel to the DigieSales cloud. From that moment forward every cart event, order, refund, and stock change is streamed through Digit's analysis engine.

What you get out of the box:

  • Predictive cart recovery — model-driven, not blast-driven. The system only sends a recovery email to a customer who actually needs nudging, and writes copy specific to the item they left behind.
  • Behavioural segmentation — automatic cohorts ("first-time browsers", "lapsed VIPs", "high-AOV deal hunters") refreshed every fifteen minutes.
  • Smart price-drop alerts — for the customer who view-stalked a product three times and then left.
  • A real analytics dashboard — not "page views by day", but revenue attribution per AI action.

The Shopify plugin

Same brain, different surface area. We built it second because WooCommerce was where we saw the gap — the Shopify app store is crowded, but the WooCommerce ecosystem has been begging for a unified AI layer for years. The Shopify app is feature-equivalent and uses Shopify's native Customer Events API for a lighter footprint.

Digit AI — the conversational layer

Digit is the part of DigieSales you actually talk to. Operators use Digit to ask questions in plain English — "What did Maria from last week's VIP cohort buy in March?", "Draft three subject lines for the Bay Threads relaunch in the brand voice", "Why did revenue dip on May 14?" — and Digit returns answers grounded in your store's actual data. Customers can also chat with a Digit-powered assistant on your storefront, when you choose to enable it.

Why this matters

Most "AI assistants" on the market are wrappers around a public model with no access to your store. Digit is the inverse: a small, private interface on top of a model that has been fed your store's events, your brand voice, and your team's playbook. The answers it gives are specific to your business — never generic.

How DigieSales actually works

Under the hood, every store running DigieSales has its own isolated tenant. Events stream into a per-tenant database, get scored against a shared library of behavioural models, and any action the system takes — sending an email, suggesting a segment, drafting copy — is logged, reviewable, and rollback-able. Nothing happens autonomously without your approval the first time a new automation runs.

We route AI inference across three providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google's Vertex AI — depending on the task. Reasoning-heavy questions go to one model; high-volume classification goes to another; embedding work goes to a third. You never see this routing; we negotiate the cost, the latency, and the privacy terms so you don't have to. Critically, none of these providers are permitted to use your data to train their general models, and we audit that contractually every year.

The result, from your perspective, is a single dashboard with one bill, one support contact, and one set of API keys.

Three numbers our early customers care about

3.4×Lift in cart recovery vs. the industry-standard discount-blast play, across 47 stores in beta.
41%Median lift in 90-day customer LTV when our post-purchase sequence is enabled.
6 minAverage time from plugin install to first AI-drafted campaign in the inbox of a real customer.

How this changes your store

Talk to anyone running a WooCommerce store at $250k–$5M in revenue and you will hear the same thing: they are spending too much of their day on operational work that an AI ought to be doing for them. Writing the same recovery email. Building the same segment. Pulling the same report. Tagging the same customer.

DigieSales eliminates that operational layer. Here is what that looks like in practice:

  1. Mornings stop starting with a dashboard. The dashboard comes to you in a Monday briefing: which products are pacing, which customers need re-engaging, which carts are recoverable, what to ship this week.
  2. Campaigns get drafted while you sleep. By 6 a.m. local time you have three subject-line options, an email body, and an attached segment, sitting in the dashboard waiting for your approval.
  3. Customer service stops being a vacuum. Digit answers 60–80% of pre-sale questions on the storefront and creates a clean ticket for the rest — with the customer's order history already attached.
  4. Inventory decisions get data behind them. Replenishment suggestions are based on actual demand curves, not gut feel.
  5. You finally know what is working. Every AI-shipped action is attributed to revenue, so you can see — in dollars — what DigieSales is earning you each month.

That last bullet is the one that converts skeptics. We don't ship "AI features"; we ship attributable revenue. If a DigieSales feature isn't beating its own ROI line by month three, you'll see it on a card in your dashboard and we'll fix it or remove it.

A note on data & privacy

You should be skeptical of any AI product that does not have a straight answer on data. Ours is: your data is yours. Your customers' data is your customers'. We process it on DigieSales-controlled servers, only on your instructions, and we never sell, rent, share, or broker it — under any regime, anywhere in the world. Read the long version in our Privacy & Data Processing Notice.

Promise

DigieSales uses AI to analyze your data — never to train shared AI models. There is a real difference between those two things, and we wrote a whole section of our Privacy Notice explaining it. Read it before you trust us. Read it before you trust anyone.

How to get started

If you run a WooCommerce store, the fastest path is to download the plugin, drop it onto your site, and let the fifteen-second handshake do its thing. You will see your first AI-drafted campaign in your dashboard before you finish your coffee. If you'd rather see it run on someone else's store first, every page on this site is a live demo of the dashboard.

If you run a Shopify store, the app is live in the Shopify App Store and installs in the same handshake-shaped flow.

If you don't run a store yet — create an account anyway. You can wire up a sandbox store in three minutes and see exactly how the AI thinks before you commit to anything.

The bigger picture: DigieSales is a bet that the next decade of commerce will be defined less by which platform you sell on and more by how intelligently your store runs on top of it. The merchants who win the 2020s will be the ones who let AI handle the operational layer so they can spend their time on product, brand, and customers.

We are building the operating layer. You bring the brand.
